Disappointed with SelectionMemory and not willing to pay $5 for SelectionMemory2 (not mentioning the bad interface it has), I went to write my own plugin for saving and restoring selections.

The main benefits compared to other solutions are:

• It is free
• It has no artificial limit with regard to how many selections can be saved
• It is driven via the context menu
• Selections can be saved with the model and won’t be lost when closing SketchUp.
